Mary has been a certified child life specialist since 2017. She lives in Michigan and previously worked in the hospital and clinic settings at The University of
Michigan’s C.S. Mott Children’s hospital.

Prior to joining the Breakthrough Coaching Center team, her work experiences with families in pre-op/surgery, neonatal intensive care unit, outpatient clinics, and emergency department have shaped her clinical skills. Mary’s early work and volunteer experiences in camp settings originally ignited her enthusiasm for authentic connection and service to people, especially children and adolescents.

Mary utilizes developmentally-appropriate approaches to understand and empower the children, adolescents, and young adults she serves. Her purpose is to promote the future generation’s overall wellbeing: their ability to cope, experience joy, and positively impact the world.
